Preschools in North Vancouver: common questions
What is the difference between preschool and daycare?
Preschool is a part-day program, usually a few mornings or afternoons a week, for children from 2½ to 5. Daycare (group child care) runs most of the working day. Some centres offer both.
When do preschools in North Vancouver take registrations?
Most take registrations for the September start in the winter or early spring, and fill remaining spaces from their waitlists. Ask each program, since dates vary.
Do preschools take part in fee reduction?
Many do. Programs in the provincial fee reduction lower their monthly fees, and each program page here says whether it takes part.
